    1. Continue Guidance Glimpse

      Project completion: May 2006
      Results: Emailed Guidance Glimpse over Enrollment and Selection Practices to Primary and Secondary Guidance members in February, 2006. Also a new member brochure was emailed to all guidance staff in November, 2005. Welcome email sent to new members in September, 2005 with a Guidance Glimpse attached.

    2. Update web

      3. Officer team (picture, email, phone)
      4. Professional development calendar
      5. Explore putting scholarships such as OAM and Kaleidoscope on web
      6. Include legislative links
      7. Membership list - job titles
      8. Committee list - chairs
      9. "Experts" for financial aid, guidance, assessment, job placement

      Responsibility: Reporter and Executive committee
      Project completion: May 2006
      Results: Guidance webpage was updated. Technical difficulties arose in trying to download these changes at the OkACTE weblink. Reporter and Advisor looked into getting own "domain" and did not like the price structure. Continuing to work with OkACTE office to fix the technical problems.

    3. Update pictorial directory
      Responsibility: Vice President and Membership committee, Advisor
      Project completion: February 2006
      Results: The 2005-06 Guidance Pictorial Directory was completed and emailed to Primary and Secondary members in January, 2006.

    4. Prepare fact sheet for guidance
      Responsibility: Advisor (and executive committee for review)
      Project completion: March 2006
      Results: On-going

    1. Tara's Tidbits (monthly topics on website with Executive Committee's input)

    2. Information/Attachments due to Reporter and carbon copy to Advisor by the 1st of the month beginning in October 2005 and ending May 2006.
      Responsibility: Reporter and Executive committee
      Results: Other priorities interfered with this goal. It was collapsed into the Guidance Glimpse.

  3. Leadership

    1. Regional workshops
      -Brent Ryan, Tri County and Karen Koehn, Northwest attended the Region IV workshop. Brent was selected Region IV Guidance Outstanding Educator. Karen Koehn serves as Region IV Vice President.
      -National ACTE - Cindi Manwell, Mid-America attended as the Guidance New Professional. Eddie Edison, Great Plains, attended as Guidance voting delegate.
      -The President Elect, Rennie Benefield, Metro Tech represented the Guidance Division at the National Policy Seminar held in March, 2006.

    2. Leadership session in PM of student services updates
      -This was a leadership/OkACTE session offered at the Student Services Update held in March, 2006.
      -Efforts to increase membership attendance at the Guidance Business meeting was a priority - new door prizes, cash awards, and discount coupons for all

    3. Explore officer shadowing
      -Ongoing
      -Each officer has an "officer box" with files and materials from past officers. These are updated annually to be ready for the next officer.

    4. Officer duties/highlights/testimonials for website
      -Ongoing

    5. Continue to encourage membership to pursue officer positions
      -Ongoing
      -Divisional slate of officers completed.
